Well, this is my first Friday off in a while. I worked last week because of the stat, and the week before that, I was off, but so were the kids, so it didn't much feel like a break for me. lol. Not that I don't LOVE spending time with my kids, but there's no time to get other stuff done when the boys are around, asking for help with their arts and crafts projects. ;)
So I've been scrapping a lot lately. I posted a bunch of new LOs for my Layout a Week album, linked at the top of the left side of this screen. I got a little behind on scrapping the pages for this challenge that Nathalie and I have going, but I have faithfully taken photos of something to scrap every single week. I just did the page for week 24 (mid-June), so I am only two pages behind now.
Anyway, it's Friday, and as usual, I have a LONG list of things to do, but first, I need to get the boys ready for their day. James is spending some time with his old daycare gang, and Thomas has his last day of a two-week session of daycamp today. Next week, they both go to a gymnastics camp. That ought to be fun for them. Man, I wish we had fun activities like that when I was growing up. lol
Well, it's breakfast time. Happy Friday! Thanks for dropping by!
Actually, I'm glad I didn't have all those activities. Although I think in today's society, children do need these activities, as a youngster I was quite content to play make-believe outside, either by myself or with other kids. I loved building forts, riding my bike, hauling my barbies outside, swimming in the pool, walking trough the woods, climbing trees in my backyard. I LOVED all that!

In the summer, my mom used to lock us out at 8am and we were allowed back in at 4pm.. lol. Loved it too! Bikes, forts swimming in the pond... sigh. Now my days are so structured....
