Well, here we are... the first long weekend of summer vacation. It's Canada's 140th birthday, and today, we will do something special to celebrate. Not sure what though. Mike and Thomas are still sleeping, but hey, the way we've been getting up early, despite school being over and done with, it's no surprise they're sleeping in.
I've been scrapping again. It seems I always find time to scrap on July 1st... and some of my favourite pages have been done in past years around Canada Day. It must be the relief of having the school year come to an end. Or maybe it's my annual burst of creativity, right around the anniversary of when I started scrapping (late June 2004). Who knows. No matter. I'm finally starting to catch up on the Layout of the Week album I've been doing (see link on the left), and I actually did another 12x12. It's only the 10th one I've done this year. I seem to be stuck on 8x8 and 8.5x11. But hey, that's okay. Whatever works! Whatever keeps me using up all these supplies I keep collecting. :P
Here's the 12x12. It's based on a sketch by Ann Costen, over at Scrapbook Centrale. I love the Elsie products I used here... the papers and the letter stickers.
Lots of other stuff to write about, but no time right now... I'll likely scrap it instead of blogging about it though. ;)
