It's really true. All those times I've thought my kids were purposely trying to drive me crazy by pretending they didn't hear me or by dawdling, making us LATE for everything... it really is all part of an evil scheme or something. And now I have proof!
Yesterday, when I saw the date written by James' teacher in his communication book, I realized that there are only 11 months left (well, now it's 11 months, minus a day) until I turn 40. And although I've heard from some close friends that 40 is not a milestone to be dreaded, I still feel the need to get one or two things checked off my master "To Do" list before that day. *sigh* This whole getting older thing, it's no fun. Although I'm guessing the alternative to getting older ain't so fun either.
I'll leave you with the scrapbook page above, featuring photos taken this past summer in beautiful Nova Scotia, while Nathalie and her family were hanging out with us for a few days. It was part of a scraplift tag challenge over at Scrapbook Centrale last month. :)
Well, I'd better get going. Things are crazy busy for me at home and at work. Thank goodness for coffee... that's all I can say!
I love that LO...the red and the edges. Kewl!!!!!

your friends are right. Turning 40 shouldn't be dreaded. I'm really enjoying my 40s. I'm more relaxed and am enjoying life more. They say that the 50s are even better, so I'm looking forward to that.
